Additional Comments:
Josiah came to Franklin from New York in 1826 and purchasing land from the US
Government Land Office.
This headstone was broken in half almost in the middle, and was set in a new
concrete base along with two galvanized pipes that now support the stone.  It
also has a black crust that covers almost the entire surface that make it almost
it impossible to read under any conditions.  
Located in the old Plat (SE) section of the Cemetery, next to a headstone of his
wife, Fannie.
