John Paul is buried with his wife Lorraine in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 
located at 25800 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan. They  are buried in 
Section 20, lot 195, next to the grave his sister Bernadette Knechtges. The 
graves of his parents, John and Christie Knechtges, are also in this cemetery, 
in Section 27. His headstone reads:

     1907 - 1977
