William is buried with his parents in the Southfield Cemetery, located at 
24366 W. 10 1/2 Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan. This road is also know as 
Civic Center Drive, and the cemetery is on a short road on the north side of 
Civic Center Road, between Berg Road and 1st Center Drive.

The headstone is an obelisk, with inscriptions on three of the sides. The side 
with William's inscription reads:

  William G.
    Son of
  W. & M. A.
   Sturman
      Died
 Nov. 1, 1855
6 years 6 mns.
