Oceana Herald November 24, 1913
Miss Anna Dzur and Chas J. Rabe were united in marriage Thursday at 3 o'clock 
at the German Lutheran Church, Benona.  Rev. Schiefer of Montague offciated 
using the full ring ceremony after which the bridal party and a host of friends 
went to the home of the bride's parents where a bountiful feast had been 
prepared.  The bride and groom are both highly respected young people of the 
community in which they live and will go to keeping house in a fine new home 
which the groom has just built the past summer.  There were many beautiful and 
useful gifts presented to the happy couple as a token of the high esteem in 
which they are held.

Additional Comments:
My paternal grandparents married on November 20, 1913 at St Stephen's Lutheran 
Church in Benona township. Witnesses were Christ Rabe, brother of the groom, 
Martha Dzur, sister of the Bride, Paul Dzur, brother of the Bride, and Lena 
Harjes.
