Hart "Argus" dated January 4, 1890
	The runaway of Chris Rabe's team a few days ago has terminated in the 
saddest manner, as Mr. Rabe died of his injuries on Friday evening 7 o'clock, 
December 27, after a number of days of terrible suffering.  It is expected that 
the funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 31.  The cause of delay is that 
friends residing at a distance have been notified, and the funeral will not 
take place until their arrival.  The deceased leaves a wife and a large family 
of children ( a number of them quite small) and a host of friends to mourn his 
loss, which will be universally felt, throughout the community, as he was a man 
possessed of a kindly nature, a warm friend, and a good neighbor.
