Feb 1934 in Ferry Township, Oceana County, MI, married (1) on 24 Mar 1886 in 
Cathcart, Brant County, Canada Agnes Josephine Murray. She died in 1889 in 
Shelby, Oceana County, MI.  James married (2) on 21 Mar 1892 in Hart, Oceana 
County Rena Mae "Jennie" Niles.  Rena Mae was born 2 Aug 1876 in Benona 
Township, Oceana County, MI to Autin D and Clarissa Adaline (Bowen) Niles, died 
12 Dec 1913 in Elbridge, Oceana County, MI.
