Jan. 6, 1960 Mrs. Penegor of Ontonagon Dies Ontonagon - Mrs. Martin Penegor, 63, died this morning at Ontonagon Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks. She had been in ill health the past year. The former Mabel Colgin was born at Duluth June 17, 1896 and came here as a young girl with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Colgin. She was married to Martin Penegor Dec. 2, 1919 and had resided here continuously. She was a member and steward of the Methodist Church and also a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Norman of Cresswell, Ore., and William of Lansing, Ill; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Mantta of White Pine; two sisters, Mrs. ethel Jackson of Duluth and Mrs. Rheo DeHut of Ontonagon; one brother, Thomas Colgin of Ontonagon, and eight grandchildren. One son, Lowell, preceded her in death. The remains are at the Allen Cane Funeral Home which will be open after 7 tonight. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Ardo Carmitchel officiating. Entombment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
