Death certificate shows Howard J. Cook was the son of Jesse Cook and Anna 
Gruber (both of Canada), male, white, single, born in Michigan and died on 
March 7, 1902 in Sylvan Twp., Osceola Co., Michigan at the age of 7 years 1 
month and 14 days, cause of death ? Embolism. Burial was on March 9, 1902
