Note:  Death certificate shows John Gruber parents as not known, male, white, 
widowed, farmer, born January 10, 1840 Germany and died on February 24, 1920 
Osceola Twp., Osceola Co., Michigan at the age of 80 years 1 month and 14 
days, cause of death from effects of a stroke paralysis.
Informant Wm Gruber. Burial was on Mar 5, 1920 German Cemetery, Evart, 
Michigan.

Death certificate shows Mary Gruber's parents as unknown, female, white, 
married, housewife, spouse John Gruber, born September 29, 1839 unknown and 
died on December 9, 1918 Osceola Twp., Osceola Co., Mich at the age of 81 
years 2 months and 10 days, cause of death Broncho Pneumonia. Informant Mrs. ? 
Gruber. Burial was on December 11, 1918 German Cemetery, Evart, Michigan.

John L. Gruber of John and Mary (Lippert) Gruber. He married Lydia A. 
Niergarth on May 4, 1891 in Evart, Osceola Co., Michigan. They were the 
parents of:

Arthur William Gruber 1892 – 1965 
Nina L Gruber 1902 – 1977
