Note: Death certificate shows Ray Murphy was the son of James L. Murphy and 
Emily Bennett (both of Canada), male, white, single, born June 11, 1903 
Michigan and died on November 11, 1903 in Hartwick Twp., Osceola Co., Michigan 
at the age of 5 months and 1 day, cause of death Acute Bronchitis "Cold". 
Burial was on November 15, 1903 German Cemetery, Evart, Michigan.

Note: Headstone dates do not agree with death certificate dates. Could not 
make out the name of the infant from the headstone. Information for name from 
Death Certificate.
