OSCODA COUNTY, MI - Charles S. Haug, 86, died Friday, March 30, 2001 at 
William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. 

Haug was a 25 year resident of Oscoda. He was born July 22, 1914 in Detroit. 
He was a pattern maker for the Peerless Pattern Works in Detroit for 20 years, 
retiring in 1976. Haug was married to Marvel E. Haug, who predeceased him in 
April of 1999. 

He is survived by his daughter, Toby and her husband Victor Gerstenlauer, and 
a sister, Grace Dupuie. 

A memorial gathering will take place on April 7 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Diener 
Funeral Home in Utica, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that 
memorial contributions be sent to the Parkinson Disease Foundation.
