HORNING PASSES AWAY AT COMINS SATURDAY* Services Here for Widow of Former Street Commissioner "Funeral services were held here Tuesday for Mrs. Henry HORNING, who passed away at her home in Comins Saturday. Eliza Ann FISH was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David FISH in the year 1866 in Canada, and passed away at the age of 73 years. She was united in marriage to Henry HORNING, with whom she lived in Clare for many years preceding his demise. Mr. Horning was an employee of the Pere Marquette Railroad here for years and served several terms as City Street Commissioner. Mrs. Horning moved to Comins eleven years ago. She is survived by two brothers: Enoch FISH, who leves in Ohio, and Osborn FISH of Mt Pleasant; one sister, Mrs. WILCOX of Lansing; other relatives and a host of friends who will mourn their loss. Her remains were brought to the Doherty Funeral Home Sunday, where they remained until Tuesday afternoon where funeral services were held at the Bapist Church at 1:00 with the Rev. A.D. TELDER officiating, and the remains laid to rest beside her late husband in the Cherry Grove cemetery. Amoung those attending from out of town were Mrs. Eunice FISH and son Enoch."
