The Coopersville Observer, April 21, 1922
Anna Elizabeth Alford known as "Auntie" Reed, was born, one of nine children, 
December 5, 1840, Lyons, Wayne Co., NY. She died April 15, 1922.

 When she was 2, she moved with her parents to Tallmadge, MI.  In 1862, she 
married David Curtis who died in 1866.  In 1872, she married Charles P. Reed 
who died in 1884.  Since moving from Tallmadge, she has lived in Vermontville, 
Lamont, and Berlin, going to Revenna over forty years ago.  She had adopted 
daughter, Etta, who died thirty one years ago.

Survivors: sister, Mrs. Hannah Millard of Berlin; 4 nieces, 5 nephews.
Burial was Tuesday in Lamont.
