Holland Sentinel May 26, 1960
Mrs. John Alofs, 76, of 300 West 16th Street, died unexpectedly this morning 
at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Schaap of East 24th Steet.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Henry (Sena)Zylman; one son, Warner; one son-
in-law, John Jacobs, all of Holland; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 
one sister Mrs. John (Hattie) Schaap; two brothers Martin and Gradus Den 
Bleyker, one sister-in-law Mrs. John (Gertrude) Den Bleyker, one brother-in-
law, Gerrit Schrotenboer, all of Holland. 
Services held Saturday at the Ninth Street Christian Reformed Church, with the 
Rev. Wilmer Witte officiating. Burial will be in the Graafschap Cemetery.
