Coopersville Observer, July 21, 1949
The former Emma DELL, Mrs. John P. BORCHERS, was born September 29, 1880 in 
Muskegon, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Samuel DELL.  She passed away 
Saturday July 16th at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edward JUBB.  She suffered 
a stroke February 16th while spending the winter in Holland with her cousin, 
Mrs. Ethel DELL KNUTSON.  She married September 5, 1906 to Mr. John P. 
BORCHERS, who ran a grocery store in Nunica for many years and is now 
retired.  She was a member of the Nunica Methodist Church.
  She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. JUBB and Mrs. Louis KOOL of 
Grand Haven and 10 granchildren.
  Services were held in the Nunica Methodist Church Tuesday with burial in the 
Nunica Cemetery.  Among those attending from out of town were: Mr. & Mrs. 
Harry DELL of Durand; Mrs. Jean KNUTSON of Holland; Mrs. Nellie DELL, George 
GIBBS and Mrs. Myrthle TAYLOR of Grand Haven; Mr. & Mrs. Willard SLATER of 
Detroit; and Mrs. Goldie WILCOX of Marne.

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Goldie Wilcox, her cousin, was my great grandmother.
