Bremer, 66 of Holland died early Tursday, April 7, at his home. He was born in Holland. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and also served with the Michigan National Guard. He worked for Holland Hitch for 20 years and was a memberof the Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church. He was also a member of Veterans of foreigh War Post 2144, and served as parade marshall for Tulip Time and Memorial Day for 34 years. He is survived by his wife Geneva, a daughter Mrs. Michael (Sandra) Zuverink of Zeeland; a son Russel Bremer of Grand Rapids; 6 grandchildren; a brother Arthur of Holland; three sisters, Mrs Esther Fraizer of Holland, Mrs. Merrill (Leona) Rotman of Holland, and Mrs. Ella DeVries of Zeeland; two sister-in- laws, Mrs. Cora Wiepen of Brandington FL, and Mrs. Peryl Wiepen of Ada. Services will be Friday at Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
