He was born Aug. 18, 1883, in Holland township and had been employed at the Holland Furniture Co., for many years. He lived at 66 West 19th Street and was a member of Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rhymer Scholma of Birch Lake, Vandalia; a brother, William Bronkhorst of Holland; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Albert Broknhorst, Yakima Valley, Washington; and his father-in-law, Gerrit Appledorn, Sr., His wife, the former Miss Hannah Appledorn, Died Nov 23, 1942. The body was removed to the Dykstra Funeral home where it will remain until funeral arrangements are completed.
