Holland Sentinel 
Mrs. Hannah Bronkhorst, 56 wife of Joe Bronkhorst, 66 West 19th Street, died 
suddenly at 4 a.m. Monday in her home of a heart attack suffered a short time 
before. She had been in failing health for the past year, but attended church 
services Sunday morning, visited her brother in the afternoon and visited 
friends Sunday night.
She was born March 2, 1886, in Holland to Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Appledorn, Sr.
Survivors are the husband; one daughter, Miss Wilma Bronkhorst, at home; the 
father, Gerrit Appledorn, Sr., of Holland; and two brothers, Gerrit Appledorn, 
Jr., Holland, and William Appledorn, Holland.
She was a member of Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed church and the Ladies 
Aid and Eunice Society of Holland Christian schools. 
She is buried in Pilgram Home Cemetery, Holland. Ottawa, Michigan
