He had been ill since August. Bronkhorst, a member of Sixth Reformed church, had been employed by the Holland engineering department for 29 years and was a fireman for engine house No. 1. He also was a member of the Metropolitan club. Bronkhorst was born in Holland on March 12, 1905. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Bronkhorst. Surviving are the wife, Anne; one daughter, Marjorie; also three sisters, Mrs. Dick (Christine) Olson, Mrs. Maynard (Jennie) Battjes and Mrs Lester (Alice) Woldring, all of Holland, and three brothers, Arie (Arthur) of Muskegon, Gerrit and Albert of Holland. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Dykstra Funeral chapel and 2 p.m. in Sixth Reformed church. The Rev. Henry A. Mouw will officiate and burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery.
