Holland Sentinel 
Clarence Brower, 66, of Holland died Sunday evening in Holland Community 
Hospital. 
A self-employed carpenter, Brower was born in Overisel and was a Holland 
resident since 1939. He was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed 
Church he was a former consistory member, having served as a deacon. He was an 
Army Air Force veteran of World War II. 
Surviving are his wife, Marian, two sons, Wesley Brower of Grand Rapids, and 
Wayne Brower of Zeeland; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Jean) Bajema of Grand Rapids; 
8 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Harold and Henry Brower of Holland, and Harvey 
Brower of Reno, Nev. and five sisters, Mrs Martin (Marian) De Young, Mrs. Bud 
(Lucille) Lamar, Mrs. Juella Wiersma and Mrs. Harold (Joyce) Hamberg, all of 
Holland, and Mrs. Ki (Greta) Van Solkema of Byron Center.
Service will be at Mulder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jacob Uitvlugt 
officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
