Herrick District Library, Obituries (1940-2003) Holland, Ottawa, Michigan
This morning at 3 o'clock Johannes De Koster of Zeeland died in a hospital in 
Ann Arbor after having submitted to an operation there. Mr. De Koster was 
taken to the hospital about a week ago. He has been ill for a long time and 
had submitted to two previous operations. He is survived by two sons, John and 
Cornelius. His wife died about a year ago. The arrangements for the funeral 
have not yet been completed.

Aug. 9, 1913 - The funeral of Johannes De Koster was held in this city 
yesterday afternoon. Services were held at 1:30 from the home and 2 o'clock 
from the First Christian Reformed church.  The Rev. D.R. Drukker officated. 
Interment was at the Zeeland cemetery.
