Herrick District Library Obiluaries ((1940-2003) and Holland Sentinel
John Den Bleyker Sr., 68 died in Holland Hospital Tuesday night, July 3, 1957.
John was the senior partner of the Breuker and Den Bleyker Plumbing Co. He 
lived in Hopkins for 12 years and then moved to East Saugatuck where he served 
as elder and Sunday School teacher in the East Saugatuck Christian Reformed 
Church for many years, At the time of his death he was a member of Bethany 
Christian Reformed Church. 
Surviving are his wife Gertrude; one daughter, Mrs. Jacob (Greta Jane)Breuker; 
one son, Jerome; 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Martin Den Bleyker, and Gradus 
Den Bleyker; two sisters, Mrs John Alofs and Mrs John Schaap; one brother-in-
law, Gerrit Schrotenboer.
Service will be held Friday at the Bethany Christian Reformed Church with Rev. 
William P. Brink officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
