Holland Sentinel 
Mrs. Gradus (Mayme) Den Bleyker, 92, of 244 College Ave., died at her home 
Saturday afternoon, Feb. 2, following a short illness.
Born in Graafschap, she lived in the area all her life. She was active in 
Golden Agers, the Ladies Aid and Holland City Mission.
Surviving are four daughters, Orma Vander Kooi of Holland, Rachel Slusher of 
Holland, Marybelle Schipper of Grand Rapids, and Elaine Cioffi of Holland, a 
son, Joseph Den Bleyker of Stevensville; a foster daughter, Shirley Breuker of 
Holland; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. 
Katherine Timmer and Mrs. Marie Bonzellaar of Holland. 
Services will be Tuesday at Dykstra Downtown Chapel with the Reb. Howard 
Schipper, son-in-law of the deceased, and Major Stanley Strissel of the 
Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
