He was a member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church where he was a former consistory and men's society member. He also served as the church custodian for 17 years. He was formerly employed at the Chris-Craft Corp. and was a Holland Christian School bus driver for 27 years. Surviving is his wife, Jean; children David and Marilyn Den Bleyker of Holland, Vernon and Beverly Den Bleyker of Lynden, WA, Faye and Lester Eding of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Julius and Jeanette Den Bleyker of Rehoboth, N.M., Marvin and Linda Den Bleyker of Palmer, Ark.; sister-in-law Mrs. Gerald (Jo) Den Bleyker of Holland, Margaret and Marvin Hulst of Zeeland; Mrs. Lawrence (Cecelia) Hofmeyer, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Hofmeyer, Mrs. Stanley (Edna) Hulst and Sally and Kenneth Hulst, all of Holland. Services will be Monday at the Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. Marvin Hofman and James Lont officiating. Burial will be in East Saugatuck Cemetery.
