The Coopersville Observer, Jan. 12, 1940
Mrs. Anna Russell, 65, wife of Theodore S. Russell of Coopersville, died 
suddenly Friday evening, from a heart attack, January 5 at the home of friends 
in Ann Arbor, where she had been for some months.

She was born December 19, 1874, Holt, MI.  The family came to Coopersville 
about 21 yrs ago from Grand Ledge.  She was a member of the Methodist Curch.
Survivors: Husband; daughter Mrs. Owen Anderson of Ann Arbor, son, Robert of 
Grand Rapids; son, Stewart of Lansing; son, Richard of Ann Arbor; son Philip 
in the US Navy, stationed with the USS "Charleston" in the Canal Zone; sister, 
Mrs. Arthur Dowling of Dansville; sister, Mrs. Harry Switzer of Lansing; 
sister, Mrs. Fred Deeg of Lansing; brother, Clarence Diehl of Dansville; 
brother, John Diehl of Mobile, AL

She was buried Monday in Coopersville Cemetery.
