Coopersville Observer, December 30, 1948
William K. Hilton of Lansing, died after a long illness on Sat., December 25th 
at his daughter, Mrs. Ben DAYRELL's home (same address in Lansing).  He was 
born March 17, 1864 in Casnovia Twp., where he farmed for many years.  He 
moved to Coopersville 25 yrs ago and lived there until his wife, Bessie passed 
away in June 1944; then he moved to his daughter's home in Lansing.  Besides 
his daughter, there is one grandchild and two great grandchildren survivng him.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon and burial took place in the Hilton 
Cemetery, near Casnovia.
