GERTRUDE KOUW, 93: Mrs. Ivan (Gertrude) Kouw, 93, of Holland, died Tuesday, 
Feb. 5, 2002, at an area care center.  She was a member of Central Avenue 
Christian Reformed Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, in 
1999.  Surviving are her children, Norma and Dean Van De Brake, Sherry Van 
Horssen, Mary Staat, all of Holland, and Nancy and David Van Eenenaam of 
Zeeland; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Clifford 
(Martha) Kimball of Florida; brother, Robert Windemuller of California; in-
laws, Mrs. Herman (Ethel) Windemuller, Mrs. Henry (Ella) Windemuller, Harold 
and Esther Nienhuis, Kent Thompson, all of Holland, and Ben and Cynthia Kollen 
of Saugatuck; nieces and nephews.  Services are 3 p.m. Friday at Central Avenue 
Christian Reformed Church, 1 Graves Place, with the Rev. James Scholten 
officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.  Visiting is 7 to 9 p.m. today 
at the Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th St.  Memorials may 
be made to Hospice of Holland.
