Kenneth E. Lewis, 70
GRAND HAVEN -- Kenneth E. Lewis, 70, of Nunica, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000.
Born in Grand Rapids, the son of Clare and Gladys Lewis, he was an operating 
engineer for Local 324 for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Dixie; children, Patrick and Ruth Lewis of Grand 
Haven, Richard Lewis of West Olive, and Sheri and David Paynter of West Olive; 
stepchildren, Terry and Cindy Lake of Indiana, Jeffrey and Sara Jeanette of 
Holland, and Marie and Mike Streeter of South Haven; two grandchildren; nine 
step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Henry of 
West Olive; and a brother, Clare and Helen Lewis of Grand Rapids.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lewis, in 1974; step-granddaughter, 
Sara Bailey, in 1989; stepson, Roderick Bailey, in 1995; and stepdaughter, 
Teresa Beers, in 1989.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. 
William Langlois officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Visiting is 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clock Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:30 
p.m.
Memorials may be made to Mass Intentions, or American Diabetes Association.
