Herrick District Library, Obituaries (1940 - 2003) Holland, Michigan
John R. Mast, 75, of 47 East 19th Street, died Thursday afternoon in Holland 
Hospital following a lingering illness. He was a member of the Ninth Street 
Christian Reformed church and formerly served in the consistory both as elder 
and deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie; two daughters, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Cooper and
Mrs. Herman (Juella) Wesseldyke both of Holland; 5 grandchildren, Dale and 
Jerry Cooper and Jack, Lynda and Mary Ellen Wesseldyke all of Holland; two 
brothers, Jacob of Jamestown, Nick of Drenthe; one sister, Mrs. Bert Walcott 
of Drenthe; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hattie Mast of Drenthe, Mrs. Jennie Mast 
of Zeeland.
Services are Saturday from the Ninth Street Christian Reformed Church with the 
Rev. Wilmer Witte officiating. Burial will be in West Drenthe Cemetery.
