Nunica
Mrs. Phoebe MINES, age 85y, 7m, widow of the late William Mines, and a highly 
respected resident of this place, passed away at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Joseph NEWMAN in Chicago, Monday night, where she had spent the winter. 
Also surviving are her daughters, Mrs. BARTHOLOMEI of South Bend, IND; Mrs. H. 
Lamont STEVENS of NY City and Mrs. John PICKETT of Nunica; 7 grandchildren; 2 
great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon with 
burial in the Nunica Cemetery.
