Holland Sentinel 
Dick P. Olsen, 73 of South Blendon, died late Friday, June 17, following a 
lingering illness.
He was a member of South Blendon Reformed Church and had been an Ottawa County 
Road Commission employee until his retirement 10 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Hermina; two daughters, Mrs Dale (Donna) Haverdink of 
Holland, and Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Hays of Zeeland; five grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; one brother, Morris Olsen of Eife Lake, and one sister, Mrs 
John (Anna) Lamberts of Holland. A brother, Fred, proceeded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the South Blendon 
Reformed Church, with the Rev. Marlin Meendering officiating. Burial will be 
in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
