Coopersville Observer,  December 21, 1923
William Riemersma, Berlin farmer and son of William RIEMERSMA SR., local Co-Op 
manager, was hurt last Thursday morning when his car was hit by a freight car 
on the Interluban railroad tracks in Berlin. He died from concussion of the 
brain at the Butterworth Hospital without regaining consciousness.
Surviving: parents, brothers, John, Henry, Jacob, David and Edward; sisters, 
Mrs. Sidney BERTUNIS and Mrs. John KONING of Gd. Rapids; Mrs. Henry RODENHOUSE 
of West Leonard Rd., Mrs. A. BOUWKAMP of Lamont and Miss Mary RIEMERSMA, 
living at home.
