Coopersville Observer, Nov. 6, 1925
  Nathaniel B. Sawyer was born April 3, 1863 in Wright Twp. and died at his 
home near Dennison, after a brief illness on October 18, 1925.
  He married November 11, 1902 to Alta Mae DAVENPORT.  All of his life was 
spent in Conklin and vicinity.  He was of a kind and happy dispostion with a 
cheery word of all.  He was known as "Doc" Sawyer.
  Surviving him are his widow, 3 brothers, John of Saginaw, Lewis of Remus, 
and Wilbur of Coopersville and 1 sister, Eve Pierce of Grand Ledge.  Funeral 
services were held Tuesday morning at the Conklin Congregational Church with 
burial in the Wright Cemetery.
