Shears, Nunica (Ottawa Co., MI) Surviving two daughters: Mrs. Olin Davenport, Conklin (Ottawa Co., MI) & Mrs. Frank House, Nunica (Ottawa Co., MI) Surviving son: Charles E. Shears, Nunica Surviving two sisters and three brothers: Mrs. John Westover of Coopersville, Mrs. Louis Moore of Nunica, William and Frank Shears of Nunica, and George Shears of Muskegon. Also survived by eleven grandchildren Funeral services: Tuesday (3 Mar 1931) at 1:30 from the Ringold Funeral Home Officiating: Rev. B. E. Williamson Burial: Spring Lake cemetery Additional Comments: Alice was the daughter of Charles HAGON and Catherine Elizabeth TRANKLER. Mrs. Olin Davenport was Mrs. Olen DEVENPORT. Mrs. Devenport’s maiden name was Marion SHEARS. Mrs. Frank House’s maiden name was Isabella Elizabeth SHEARS. Son, Charles Edward Shears’, wife was Vernie May PORTER. Daughter, Linda SHEARS, preceded her parents death 13 May 1891. George and Alice are buried in Block 2, Lot S 1/2 of 38 on the East Side.
