Coopersville Observer, Oct. 24, 1930
  Mrs. Esther Stauffer Porter, 62, lifelong resident of the northern part of 
Chester Twp., died at home last week Thursday.  She taught young people's 
classes at the North Chester Baptist Church for 34 years.  Survived by her 
husband, 2 daughters, 1 brother and 1 sister and 6 grandchildren.  Funeral 
services were held Sunday at the North Chester Baptist Church.
