Coopersville Observer, Jan. 30, 1941
  Mrs. Katharine DeYOUNG, 36, passed away Friday afternoon at her home in 
Allendale.  Survived by: husband, John; 2 daughters, Mrs. Gilbert COLEMAN of 
Gd. Rapids, Mrs. Theo LAMB of Battle Creek; 2 sons, William of Fort Custer and 
Richard at home; her father, Peter VISSER; 4 brothers, Fred, Peter, William of 
Gd. Rapids and Edward of Allendale; 3 sisters, Mrs. Seba BEIMERS, Mrs. Paul 
HILEMAN of Gd. Rapids, Mrs. William FULTZ of Toledo, OH.
Funeral services were held Monday with the burial in the Allendale Cemetery.
