Coopersville Observer, Feb. 10, 1928
Clara Wachter, wife of William Wachter of Crockery  Twp., died quite suddenly 
at her home, Monday.  She was born in Germany 71 years ago.  She lived at her 
present home for 47 years and was one of the best known pioneers there.  She 
is survived by her husband, and children: Mrs. Frank Spinner, of Coopersville; 
Mrs. Harley Erickson of Milwaukee; Mrs. Elmer Cook of Grand Rapids; Louis 
Wachter of Spring Lake; and George Wachter of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services were held in St. Mary's Church in Spring Lake Thursday with 
burial in Spring Lake Cemetery.
