Melvin Walcott, 69
ZEELAND -- Melvin Walcott, 69, of Zeeland, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 
Spectrum Hospital Butterworth Campus.
He was a member of Drenthe Christian Reformed Church and was a former 
consistory member, Sunday school teacher and superintendent.
He retired from Keeler Brass.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matt and Michelle.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Doug and Sandy Walcott, Dave and 
Sue Walcott, and Steve and Wendy Walcott, all of Zeeland; six grandchildren; 
sister, Joanne and Ken Engelsman of Zeeland; sisters- and brothers-in-law, 
Bonnie and Ken Dykema of Hudsonville, Bill and Diane Berghorst of Ohio, and 
Jean and Ken Assink of Holland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Drenthe Christian Reformed 
Church with the Rev. Ronald Meyer officiating.
Burial will be in West Drenthe Cemetery.
Visiting will be at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State St., from 2 p.m. 
until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to the Northern Lighthouse, Lincoln, Neb., in care of 
the Drenthe Christian Reformed Church.
