She died Sunday morning, age 79, in Grand Haven, after a long illness. She married Dudley O. Watson, of Coopersville and a political leader in Western Michigan, in 1880. They lived in Coopersville for seven years; then moved to Grand Haven where they ran a dry goods store. Dudley died in 1910. Mrs. Watson was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Grand Haven and was a member of the Women's Club and had been active in the World War civilian work. Survivors: daughter, Margaret; sister, Mrs. L. D. Mills of Coopersville. Son, Melvin, age 21, died in 1908. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Chuch in Grand Haven on Tuesday morning with burial in Lake Forest Cemetery.
