Holland Sentinel June 8, 1973
Zeeland - Nicholas Zylstra 89, of Zeeland, died Thursday in a local rest home 
where he had been a patient for the past two years.
He was a member of First Reformed Church and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Tillie) Schreur and Mrs. Allen 
(Betty) Raak, both of Holland, Miss Joanna Zylstra of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. 
Ray (Jerene) Schrotenboer of Hamilton; two sons, Lambert of Zeeland and 
Bernard of Jenison; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Henry Vredeveld of Zeeland and Mrs. Wesley Veenstra of Ellsworth: two 
stepsons, Cornelius Groenewoud of Buffalo, N.Y. and Gary Woodward of New York 
City and a brother-in-law, Albert Sneller of Zeeland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Yntema Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Ronald Geschwendt and Dr. Jacob Prins officiating.
Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
