Holland Sentinel - May 2 1946
Zeeland, May 2 (Special) Mrs. Mary Zylstra, 69, 16 East Mc Kinley St., died 
last Thursday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nellie 
Carroll Meeusen, 39 East 16th St., Holland after a few week's illness. 
Born January 5, 1877 in Salem Township, MI to John and Hendrikje Mast.
She married John Kornelis Zylstra on November 14, 1893 in Zeeland, MI
Survivors include five other daughters,  Hattie and Seblo Veenstra of 
Ellsworth, Luke and Jennie Reamsma of Detroit, Lambert and Alice Doctor and 
Gerrit and Clara Bronkhorst, both of Royal Oak, and Ralph and Mildred Meeuwsen 
of Holland; a son, Corneilus and Mary Zylstra of North Blendon; 29 
grandchildren and eight great grand children; two sisters, Mrs James De Zwaan 
of Jamestown and Mrs. Fannie Hamer of Zeeland; two brothers, Hilbert and Nick 
Mast of Zeeland.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the home at Zeeland and 2 
p.m. in First Reformed church, the Rev. A. Rynbrandt officiating, with burial 
in Zeeland Cemetery.

Lived in Oakland,MI later moved to South Barnard, MI before moving to Zeeland, 
MI
