Grandville - James (jake) Zylstra, 57, of Wyoming, died March 17, 2001. After 
a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
James retired by disability in 1990 from the Elevator Construction Industry 
after 18 years and became an honorary lifetime member.
Laura Zylstra his daughter, died July 28, 1973 Buried in Georgetown Cemetery, 
Hudsonville, Michigan, a brother Harold and parents Cornelius and Mary 
(Groenhof) preceded him in death.
James was born June 9, 1943  
He married Sally Lucille Eberhard on Dec. 2, 1966 
He has one daugther from this marriage Tina (Mark) Mc Coy of Rockford, Michigan
He has two surviving brothers, John (Betty) Zylstra of Dutton; Glen (Bonnie) 
of Jenison; two sisters, Margie (Ray)Ryzenga of Hamilton, Betty (Gar) Buhrer 
of Jenison. Services will be Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel with the Rev. 
Doyle Passmore officiating. Interment in Georgetown Cemetery.
