This stone is located between the Pauly and Grauherr stones and slightly more toward the back fence line toward the east. The name at the top is "Juhn", with the name "Carline" and her dates on the left side, and the name "Ernest" and his dates on the right side below it. Carline Juhn 1845 - 1923 Ernest Juhn 1921 - 1913 Additional Comments: There is an additional photo of the cross marking the stone, and individual photo's of each side of the stone for additional clarity. This stone was partially buried and was missed when the picture of the cross was taken. When the picture of the cross was being processed it was noticed that there might be a marker beneath it. A return trip to the cemetery proved this to be true, and the stone was freed from the covering dirt, cleaned as well as possible and photographs taken. In the B.J. Kemme transcription of the Belknap Township Cemetery this stone is attributed to Arline and Ernest John(?). After cleaning it, it became apparent that the name on the left is "Carline" with the C being more deteriorated than the rest of the name. The top of the U in the name "Juhn" was buried and it looked like "JOHN", but after cleaning it became obvious that the surname is "JUHN" File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/presqueisle/photos/tombstones/belknaptownship/juhn144263nph.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
