Additional Comments:
Herman Ambrose and Edith Louisa (Baker) Hartshorn were my grandparents. Herman 
died at age 33 of diabetes leaving my grandmother to raise two sons, Max 
Daniel and Theron Russell, age 4 and 2 when he died. She died in December 1944 
a month before I was born. Max was my father.
