Obituary from Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich  12-30-1999

Alexander "Al" A. Mroczkowski, Houghton Lake, Mi. formerly of Harrison,
passed away suddenly on Monday, December 20, 1999 at his home, age 59
years.  Al Mroczkowski was born on May 23, 1940 to Alexander and
Genevieve Mroczkowski.  He married Mary Chesney on June 20, 1964 in
Detroit, Mi.  She predeceased him on May 29, 1997.
     Surviving are two sons and one daughter; Deborah (Patrick) Elle of
Traverse City, MI; Lawrence (Kathy) Mroczkowski of Rapid City, SD and
Kenneth (Susan) Mroczkowski of Jackson, Mi; four grandchildren Rebecca,
Christopher, Megan, and Samantha.  Very special friend Ruth Dunham of
Houghton Lake, Ruth's family, two daughters and one son; Jim (Vivki)
Rowland, Deborah (Doug)Bond, and Angie Dunham.  Three grandchildren
Justin, Jason, and James.  Also surviving is one brother Timothy
(Dorothy) Mroczkowski.
     Funeral Services took place on Thursday, December 23, 1999 at
Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, Prudenville.  Father Richard Seifferly
officiated.
Burial was in Denton Township Cemetery.  Those planning an expression of
sympathy may wish to consider donations to the charity of your choice.
