Saginaw News, Saginaw Michigan December 9, 1897
Miss Carrie Gabel, of Bridgeport, and Bernard Loth, of this city, were united in 
marriage last evening at the home of the groom's parents, 405 South Fourteenth 
street, Rev. Frederick Volz officiating in the presence of a number of friends and 
relatives. Wm. Loth acted as best man and the bridesmaids were Miss Annie Sticker 
and Miss Annie Gabel. A reception was held after the ceremony and the guests all 
sat down to a wedding supper. Both bride and groom were the recipients of a number 
of presents.
