ALMIRA VINCENT CHESANING - Mrs. William (Almira) Vincent, 87, of Chesaning RFD 3 died Monday evening after a one-week illness. She died at the home of her son, Ruthford. The body will rest at Walker Funeral Home in Chesaning. The time and day for the services have not been set. Mrs. Vincent was born in Lansing on Aug. 23, 1874. She moved to Brant as a small child and had resided in this area most of her life. On May 15, 1890 she was married to William Vincent in the Brant Methodist Church. Survivors include five sons, Dorman [Dorwin] of Bay City, George of Cass City, William of Dearborn, Aran [Aaron] of Birmingham and Ruthford of Chesaning. Also surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Clara Palmer of Rhodes, Mrs. Caroline Bell of Birmingham, Mrs. Dortha Griffus and Mrs. Alma Devereaux, both of Chesaning, Mrs. Helen Grasier of Bannister, Mrs. Vera Borsenik of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Marie Herbers of Brant. A brother, Virel Aldrich of St. Charles and two sisters, Mrs. Sue Kinsey of Owosso and Mrs. Viola Trenchel of Pontiac also survive. She is survived by grandchildren and more than 80 great-grandchildren.
