Deaths

Allan Bishop, 84
Allan Taylor Bishop, a resident of Frankenmuth for the past two years, passed 
away Saturday morning (Feb. 28) at St. Luke's Hospital.  He was 84 years of 
age.  Mr. Bishop was born on Sept. 20, 1891 in St. John's, Newfoundland, 
moving to Saginaw where he made his home prior to coming to Frankenmuth.  He 
was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was employed by General Motors 
for many years, retiring in 1956.

Mr. Bishop leaves his wife, the former Edna C. Huber, whom he married in 1913 
in Saginaw.  He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine B. Ericsson, of 
Frankenmuth, and Mrs. Kathryn C. Daly of Flint.

Services for Mr. Bishop took place on Tuesday, March 2, at the Case Chapel 
Saginaw, with the Rev. Joel Ehlert officiating.  Entombment was in Oakwood 
Mausoleum.
