Chisholm who died Sunday morning, Dec. 16 at Dunedin, Florida at the age of 77 years. The Rev. Charles Robinson officiated with burial in Birch Run cemetery. Saginaw Valley Lodge No. 154, F & AM, of which he was a life member, conducted a memorial service Wednesday evening. He was an elder and member of the Taymouth Presbyterian Church and those who desired were asked to make memorials to the church. Mr. Chisholm was born Aug. 10, 1896 in Saginaw and had lived in Birch Run for the last 15 years. He married Huldah Spencer in Chicago. Mr. Chisholm was a veteran of World War I and a member of World War 1 Barracks No 471. He was past president of the Downtown Saginaw Lions club and of the U.C.T. He also was a life member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, the St. Bernard Commandery, the Bay City Consistory, and the Elks Lodge No 47. He also was a past president of the Wildwood Hunting Club. Mr. Chisholm had owned and operated the Chisholm Flowers in Saginaw for over 40 years, retiring in 1971. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Carol) Kubik of Saginaw; several nieces and nephews.
