George Wm. Aldrich, of Brant, Dead _______ George Wm. Aldrich died at his late home in Brant Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, 1907, of pneumonia, from which he had been suffering two weeks. He was only confined to the bed three days, but the disease was increased by asthma, from which he had suffered for years. He was 61 years of age, and had lived in Brant since 16 years of age. He was a veteran of the civil war, and was buried under G.A.R. auspices Thursday at the hall in Brant, Rev. Haynes officiating, and the burial was made in Brant Cemetery. Besides a widow he leaves eight children: Mrs. Myra Vincent, Mrs. Alice Dennison, Mrs. Susan Kinsey, William and Virl, of Brant, Mrs. Viola Finchell, of St. Charles; and Mrs. Rose Armstrong, of Rose City and Aaron of South Branch.
